Federated offers special deals on electric water heaters to members. For a price of $750, plus tax, members can purchase a stainless steel electric water heater with a limited lifetime warranty against leaks for the original owner. Tax is added based on the county where it is installed. Our water heaters come in a variety of sizes, from 50 gallons to 105 gallons.
The water heater must also be put on Federated's load control program, which will control it during times of peak demand to help keep electric rates stable. With the insulation and larger sizes, our goal is that you have plenty of hot water.
To schedule a water heater installation, please call 1-800-321-3520 between 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. In addition, Federated does service calls if your unit is leaking or short of hot water. Service calls during business hours are $190, parts included. Services calls after business hours are $275, parts included.
If you're interested in picking up the water heater and installing the water heater yourself, it costs $750, but you can receive $100 credit back after the radio control is installed. Federated installs the radio receiver at no charge. If you want Federated to take the old water heater from the basement ore premises, that's an extra $75 charge.
